Calm, practical, caring doula support through your pregnancy, birth and beyond
How doula support can help you
As your doula I am here to support you as your trusted companion throughout your pregnancy, labour and birth. I'll provide practical support and suggestions, sign-post you to credible and reliable information and I'll be here to listen and talk to you about all your options. I'll help you - and your partner - feel well-prepared and well-supported.
I want you to be able to reflect on your birth positively, knowing it was the right birth for you on the day. To make that happen, I ensure you have good evidence-based information so you can make fully informed choices. I help you create birth plan that you trust and feel confident in. I'll encourage you to create a safe and secure birth space - however your baby is going to be born.
It also means being present with you the day your baby is born, bringing the reassurance of someone you know and trust, and who knows and trusts you. I am someone your partner can rely on, and who can offer you the comfort, reassurance and support you need. I want you to feel calm, grounded, prepared and ready for the intense and wonderful whirlwind that is birth
"Honestly we would have been lost without you. Our gorgeous rock that sat by when needed, never asked, then stepped up to be incredible support"
Rachel, second time Mum after birth trauma

The Pocket Doula Support Package
We developed this framework of support during COVID, when we weren't able to provide the in-person we'd always been able to offer. To our surprise, it worked really well for lots of women and families. Here, you get all the continuity and personalised preparation and care you have with a birth doula, the only difference is that when your labour starts, I join you remotely, with video and voice calls and messages, rather than in-person.
This is the perfect package for you if you want all the personalised support, and the freedom to speak to a trusted birth companion whenever you want, but just don't feel that you need an extra person in your birth room. Or perhaps you think I am the right doula support for you, but live outside my 'patch' - I can offer this support in the UK and internationally.
It is also a more cost-effective form of support.
